Biography
With over a decade of experience in criminal defense, conducting dozens of jury trials and defending over a thousand criminal cases, Megan von Ruhtenberg has honed her trial skills and developed the professionalism needed to navigate the criminal justice system. After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2003, she was awarded her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University in 2008. Since that time her career focus has been criminal defense. Megan is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana as well as in the Southern District Court of Indiana. She is a fierce advocate for those facing criminal accusations, both felonies and misdemeanors and has gained expertise in narcotics and firearms cases. Being charged with a crime can create anxiety and confusion and Megan knows keeping her clients well-informed and involved throughout the process is very important. She provides guidance and support to her clients in addition to protecting their rights in the courtroom.
